Expressing his satisfaction with the participation, Bayraktutan said that 8 March should be understood correctly, that it represents women's ability to work under equal conditions with men, and that it should be celebrated as International Working Women's Day. Bayraktutan, who expressed his discomfort when trying to make it a tabloid like some special days, stated that his efforts are giving this day its due. Yasemin Bayraktutan stated that the rights that women have gained today have a very sad history and that many women lost their lives along with their children in the demonstrations organized to improve working conditions in the 1850s. said.
Then, ideas were exchanged with the participants on the civil rights of Turkish women, the point reached in the education of girls and women, and the steps taken in child and maternal health. Erden, on the other hand, stated that he was happy to see that with the correct understanding of March 8, good steps were taken in fundamental issues such as improving women's working conditions, employment, education and health, and that women's presence and weight were felt in every field with non-governmental organizations.
